Waiting for Maritime Radio Day 2015

With this short review the MRD Staff would like to remember the next Maritime Radio Day that will be held on April 14th 12h00 GMT until April 15th 22h00 GMT.

This year to subscribe your partecipation to the Event it has been opened an automatic system available on the following link:

on the above webpage you can check also the updated list of partecipants.

MRD is an Event to remember the Golden Age of Maritime Radio Communications and the figure of Radio Officer who has been erased by the “easy but not truly safety” new technologies applied in the world of sea radio comms.

On youtube there are several clips recorded in the time during the past edition of Martime Radio Day.

Just one of the famous clips when St. Lys Radio has been “reorganized” by former Radio Operators to run the MRD in the year 2010.

Past MRD Advertisement by Andre CORDIER – F6GIN

Dear Sparks,

to promote Maritime Radio Days in the past years has been made any kind of things from images to bullettin inserctions. We prie to follow same ways for a better promotion of the coming Event.

Our colleague Andre CORDIER has always supported MRD in his magazine QST/MM and the image above (MRD 2013)  is really pointed over the Event.

Best regards,

MRD Staff
